Lila Co-Founders Ricky Williams and Linnea Miron invite you to join them for a workshop in Grass Valley, California from Thursday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 25th. This is akin to taking a semester course in astrology through the specific lens of nurturing the specific potentials in your loved ones.

Caregiving, caretaking and parenting are all a series of judgment calls, and it completely changes the game when you’re truly informed about the unique make-up of the person you care about. The outdated assumption is that parenting is difficult because kids don’t come with instruction manuals.

The good news is that it turns out THEY DO, and we all do — the instruction manual is called our birth chart, and it’s easy to obtain. It’s an incredibly satisfying experience to use the information gleaned from these charts to become even more skillful guides to others on their precious journeys as human beings in the 21st century. What’s more, the wisdom of this work is applicable to nurturing the potential in the adults in our lives, too. Our modern family ways extend beyond our blood relatives.‍‍

Prep for Weekend Immersion (online)

EARLY AUGUST 2024

2 video classes before the weekend to prepare you for the live talks about the fundamentals of the planets, signs and houses. You have access to the recordings whether you are able to attend them or not. These classes set the groundwork philosophy behind why we view this work as so important. The goal is for your minds to already be running on this stuff before we meet in person for the intensive download.

• The first video class will be on August 8th from 11 AM - 12 PM PT.

• The second one will be held 1-2 weeks before the weekend immersion.

• Printable handouts will be provided as well, beginning on August 8th and continuing throughout the semester.

Weekend Immersion (In Person)‍

AUGUST 22-25, 2024

3 days of live talks in a conference room in Grass Valley’s Gold Miners Inn. The purpose is to give you the initiation experience into thinking astrologically in the most effective way. Friday will cover The Human Urges, as expressed through the 10 planets and the 12 signs. Saturday will cover houses and rulership, as well as transits and progressions.

Post-Immersion Implementation & Further Study (Zoom)

SEPTEMBER 2024-FEBRUARY 2025

During the 6 months following the Weekend Immersion piece, Ricky and Linnea will hold 18 classes over Zoom to build off of the work once everyone is back in their own homes with their own families.

September-November

• 1 hour Zoom class once a week
• Total of 12 classes

December-February

• 1 hour Zoom class every other week
• Total of 6 classes

During these follow-up discussions, you have opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and get support. You also have access to the recordings of these calls whether or not you are able to attend them.

Lodging

Participants are responsible for their own travel and hospitality accommodations. The closest airport to Grass Valley is Sacramento (SMF), followed by Reno. If you do not live in the vicinity, a couple suggestions for where to spend your 3 nights (other than at an AirBnB near downtown Grass Valley) are listed below.

The Gold Miners Inn

A block of rooms has been reserved for those who wish to stay on site. The rates for a standard King or a standard double Queen is $179 for Thursday night and $240 for each of Friday and Saturday nights (plus 10% room rate and a 0.043% state tax).
